My African Safari Camps is excited to announce the opening of our flagship camp, aptly named Camp Khwai, a luxury tented safari camp located along the banks of the Khwai River overlooking Moremi Game Reserve in the Khwai Community Concession of Botswana.
Indulge in a breathtaking African safari experience at Camp Khwai, where you’ll witness the incredible wildlife of Khwai Concession & Moremi Game Reserve, the oldest protected section of the world famous Okavango Delta. Imagine spotting wild dogs, hyenas, lions, buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes roaming free in their natural habitat, not forgetting our resident hippos’ all while immersed in the beauty of the African wilderness.
At Camp Khwai, you’ll have access to an array of thrilling activities such as morning, afternoon, and night game drives, as well as walking and mokoro safaris (depending on water levels), allowing you to get up close and personal with the incredible wildlife of the region.
We are all for a safari with character, providing a variety of experiences that foster connections with both the landscape and the people of Botswana and the African continent.

SAFARI ACTIVITIES
GUIDED GAME DRIVES take place morning, afternoons or night. The variety of animals, flora and fauna vary depending on routes taken as the ecosystem is vast.
MOKORO SAFARIS are tranquil way to explore the wilderness from a unique angle (depending on the water levels).
BIRD WATCHING is magnificent especially during the migration periods.
SCENIC HELICOPTER trips for 20-30mins are arranged upon request at extra charge.
VILLAGE VISITS of the Khwai village are a heart warming experience (upon request at extra charge).
WALKING SAFARIS (depending on the season) (guides are armed while walking).
